Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Armenia Giorgi Sharvashidze presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.

Welcoming the newly appointed ambassador, Vahagn Khachaturian congratulated him on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him fruitful work during his diplomatic service.

During the meeting, issues on the agenda regarding the fields of Armenian-Georgian multi-level cooperation, and the directions of promotion of interaction between Armenian and Georgian business circles were discussed.

Reference was also made to regional problems and prospects for their solution. Both sides emphasized the need to establish stable and lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
