Azerbaijan claims that "arms were transferred from Armenia to Karabakh accompanied by Russian peacekeepers" |azatutyun.am|

"Today, the Russian peacekeeping troops accompanied the transportation of the military vehicles of the Armenian armed forces and illegal armed formations to Karabakh via an alternative ground route to the Lachin Corridor."

This is claimed by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, declaring that "it was recorded by the means of technical observation of the Azerbaijani units deployed in that direction, and it is a gross violation of tripartite agreements, which must be stopped immediately."

Baku made a similar statement about the bloody incident of March 5, but the Armenian side denied it.

"It does not correspond to the absolute reality, they know very well that the police officers were just passing through that road in order to carry out their service," said Hunan Tadevosyan, spokesperson of the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Apart from the service weapons of the police, there were no other weapons and ammunition in the passenger car, and the video clearly shows that the "UAZ" drove from Stepanakert to the police station. Stepanakert denied the claims of the Azerbaijani side, presenting the entire tragic process of the incident with footage as evidence.

"If these actions are not stopped immediately, the Azerbaijani side will have to resort to necessary measures to prevent this. Those events once again confirm the need for Azerbaijan to set up an appropriate checkpoint on the road to Lachin," the military department of Azerbaijan stated again today.
