The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to fulfill its tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation issued a message about this. It is noted that Russian peacekeepers are monitoring the situation at 30 observation points and monitoring the ceasefire.

According to the report, three routes were patrolled in the corridor of Martakert, Martuni, and Lachin. During the past day, no violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded.

The convoy escort of the Russian peacekeeping troops with humanitarian cargo along the Goris-Stepanakert route was provided. Humanitarian action was held to provide food packages to indigent families with many children in the Shushi region.

The engineering teams of the Russian peacekeeping troops continue demining the facilities and the area. An area of 0.6 ha was cleared during the day.

In general, since November 23, 2020, 2,516.7 hectares of land, 689.5 km of roads, 1,940 buildings have been cleared of unexploded mines and shells, and 26,779 explosive objects have been found and neutralized.

"In order to ensure the safety of peacekeepers of the Russian Federation and prevent possible incidents, continuous cooperation is maintained with the main headquarters of the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan," the message states.
