The official representatives of the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan visited Baku Penitentiary No. 1, where RA citizens are kept, "Turan" agency reports.
"They received and listened to a number of detainees, including citizens of Armenia, who were arrested after November 10, 2020," the media reports, citing the official message.
According to the source, Armenians kept behind bars "were provided with legislative acts in their own language regarding their rights".
"During the regular meetings, it was noted that the requirements of the law are observed for these persons, their rights are ensured, the necessary medical and psychological assistance is provided, and entertainment is effectively organized," the message says.
According to the assurance of the Azerbaijani HRD office, the Armenian prisoners of war did not have any complaints.
