At the beginning of March, the ICRC representatives visited the Armenian prisoners of war held in Baku, Zara Amatuni, the head of communication programs of the Red Cross in Armenia, reports.
"This was our regular meeting with the persons whose capture has been confirmed by Azerbaijan. We do not provide any statistical data on these persons, because it is closed information.
One of the procedures is also that it is possible to restore the connection between these persons and their families by various means. These are the letters from the Red Cross, and we also allow them to make phone calls and record video messages, which are then forwarded to their families.
"We also send letters and video messages from the families to the prisoners, which they can watch within the meetings," Amatuni said.
It should be reminded that so far Baku has confirmed the capture of 33 people.
