After the positional advance of the Azerbaijani armed forces to one of the heights adjacent to the Stepanakert-Ghaibalishen-Lisagor road, the Russian peacekeepers have positioned themselves on the given height and are controlling it. At the same time, they are negotiating with the Azerbaijani side to ensure their return to the starting position. 

"At the same time, the units of the Defense Army have taken and are taking appropriate steps to prevent possible further provocations by Azerbaijan and, if necessary, to ensure the safe use of this mountain road.

The authorities of Artsakh are in constant contact with the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces in order to take all possible measures to regulate the situation," the message of the Artsakh Information Center.

It should be reminded that according to the information center of Artsakh, the armed forces of Azerbaijan violated the line of contact in the Shushi-Lisagor sector on March 25 and secured a certain positional advance in the territory of Artsakh. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced that the units of the Azerbaijani army have taken "necessary local control measures" in Artsakh. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation recorded the incident in the bulletin about the activities of the peacekeepers in Artsakh, noting that the Azerbaijani side was presented with a demand to stop the engineering works and withdraw the units to the positions they had previously occupied.
