Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Artsakh, Hayk Khanumyan, warned the residents of Aghavno that they should leave Aghavno by August 25. This was reported by Andranik Chavushyan, the head of Aghavno village in Artsakh.
“We knew that this day would come, but we had certain hopes. We did our best to keep it and now they are turning the people into nothing,” said Chavushyan.
The mayor of the community said that the Armenian side is behaving in this way, and the Azerbaijanis say that they built the road, they finished it, and it is not their problem whether the Armenian side built another road or not.
“They demand that the road should be handed over and that’s it,” Andranik Chavushyan said.
Berdzor community head Narek Aleksanyan also said that Hayk Khanumyan informed Berdzor residents about the same decision: “He said that we should leave our homes by August 25, we should start the evacuation, we should understand what is happening.”
