The work of the OSCE Minsk Group continues. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrey Rudenko today in an interview with TASS news agency. "Contacts are continuing, although they are not so public," the diplomat said.
According to the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, the co-chairs plan to hold talks with the heads of the diplomatic departments of Armenia and Azerbaijan in New York in the coming days.
"If [these negotiations] take place, it will be a good indicator that the normalization of relations between the two countries is getting a practical look. We continue to perceive the Minsk Group as an important tool for ensuring progress in the peace process, " Rudenko said.
