We are concerned over the armed clashes in Kazakhstan. Rumors about the infiltration of terrorist groups are alarming. We strongly condemn violence and believe that it cannot be a way to solve political problems. We are confident that it’s necessary to take steps to prevent further clashes and restore the atmosphere of tolerance necessary for the implementation of peaceful political processes in the country, including the right of citizens to peaceful assembly.
