RA MoD calls on Azerbaijani MoD to refrain from spreading false information about the situation on the border

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan continues to periodically spread misinformation about the opening of fire by the Armenian Armed Forces on the combat positions of Azerbaijani units on a particular section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia informs.

In particular, late in the evening of February 18, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry issued a statement claiming that on the same day, units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on Azerbaijani combat positions located on the northeastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

We call on the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan to refrain from spreading false information about the situation on the border, which doesn’t contribute in any way to the establishment of stability on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
