Former Armenian FM criticized the UN and the EU

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan made critical posts on Twitter to UN and EU officials.

"Significant escalation in the east of Nagorno-Karabakh yesterday & today. Azerbaijan violates ceasefire with the use of firearms and drones, including Bayraktars. 3 dead and 14 wounded in Artsakh," Mnatsakanyan wrote.

"For over 2 weeks Artsakh is without gas in freezing weather. Conditions border humanitarian catastrophe. Azerbaijan deliberately delays repairs of only pipeline to Artsakh under its control. The world is charmingly blind. Nothing new here. These latest events attest the ongoing existential threat to the people of Artsakh. Their struggle has always been about survival and security on their land. Artsakh under Azerbaijani jurisdiction is Nagorno-Karabakh without Armenians. Baku has never concealed this objective."

"Meanwhile, the UN office in Azerbaijan and Vladanka Andreeva [UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan - ed.] were partying in Shushi with their hosts, while a few kilometers down the hill Armenians in Stepanakert were in dire conditions. The message is impressive, UN staff celebrating humanitarian terrorism and ethnic cleansing. Sickening," Former Armenian FM wrote.

"Seriously? Like urging which particular sides? Like urging Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh not to inflict humanitarian catastrophe upon themselves? Like urging them not to use fire and drones against themselves? It is at such moments that one appreciates the value of silence..."
