Nikol Pashinyan met Macron, Aliyev, and EC President in Prague

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the European Political Community Summit in Prague. The event was attended by leaders of more than four dozen EU member states, as well as leaders of EU partner countries.

The summit was held in the Old Castle of Prague. The leaders of the participating countries were welcomed by the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala. After the plenary session, a joint photo-taking ceremony of the participants of the summit took place.

Within the framework of the event, Prime Minister Pashinyan also participated in the round-table discussion on the topic of security, had a quadrilateral meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, European Council President Charles Michel, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took place. The First Pashinyan-Erdogan meeting is underway.

Zakharova claims Moscow presented comprehensive proposals to Yerevan and Baku on signing a peace treaty

Moscow presented comprehensive proposals to Yerevan and Baku regarding the conclusion of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said this during a briefing today.

"Our comprehensive proposals have been presented to Yerevan and Baku, as we have already informed. The special representative of the Russian Foreign Minister, Igor Khovaev, has made a number of visits to the region for consultations on this topic," Zakharova said.

She also noted that the approaches of the West regarding the regulation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan are not very balanced.

We are gradually approaching peace: Aliyev informed the quadrilateral meeting will continue today

I hope we are gradually approaching peace. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this in a conversation with Azerbaijani journalists in Prague.

It should be reminded that the meeting of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, French President Emmanuel Macron, and EC President Charles Michel took place in Prague today.

Aliyev noted that the meeting will continue after the dinner.

"I appreciate Charles Michel's work in that direction, because, as it's known, tripartite meetings have been held in Brussels several times, and each time we have come closer to peace. Important issues were discussed during this meeting, and I believe that this meeting will be important for concluding the peace agreement. In any case, contacts continue," Aliyev said.

No bodies of Azerbaijani servicemen were transferred to the Azerbaijani side

RA Ministry of Defense informs that Azerbaijan, trying to find some explanation for the terrible video spread all over the world, where Azerbaijani soldiers shoot disarmed Armenian soldiers, today through the country's general prosecutor's office, spread nonsense, according to which "the bodies of 6 Azerbaijani soldiers, who were tortured to death by the Armenian servicemen who are depicted in the mentioned video, were allegedly handed over to the Azerbaijani side”.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia declares that the bodies of Azerbaijani servicemen were not transferred to the Azerbaijani side, and the message issued by the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan is intended to cover up the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
