Artsakh Human Rights Defender commented on the situation on the Lachin Corridor

The head of the UN office in Armenia is also the head of "UNICEF" and he must understand very well that the children living in Artsakh were deprived of gas supply, heating, and hot water for 2 days, Artsakh Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan announced this in front of the Yerevan office of the United Nations.

"It is s that sad situation continues for the 5th day, but we have not received at least one comment from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Everyone's rights are important, but for me personally, it is very sad that the topic of wearing a hijab is being made around the world and there are thousands of statements about it, but when the lives of 120.000 people are under threat, the bother to make even one comment.

The High Commissioner for Human Rights has that mission, let the head of the Armenian office come down and present whether he was properly notified about all this. It is enough that we are neglected by the world, as if Artsakh does not exist in the world, this neglect must be put to an end," said Gegham Stepanyan.

He noted that the indifference of the international community makes Azerbaijan unpunished.

"Within Azerbaijan, it is not possible to ensure any rights or security. We will continue the struggle for our rights, the pressure must multiply, the international community must feel that they will not have peace, up to 120.000 people do not have a peaceful life," said the Human Rights Council of Artsakh.
