The co-rapporteurs, referring to the statement of November 9, 2020, emphasize that the free movement of all types of vehicles must be urgently restored.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan asserted that "taking into account the fact that in recent months, means of transport have passed through Lachin road, the Armenian side has no grounds to claim that Lachin road was closed by Azerbaijan and that a humanitarian crisis was created as a result."

5 patients transferred from Artsakh to Armenia

Accompanied by the Red Cross, 5 medical patients were transferred to Armenia today. This was reported by Zara Amatuni, head of communication and prevention programs of the ICRC Armenia office.

"Five medical patients and their companions were transferred to Armenia for examination and further treatment," said Amatuni.

The Artsakh information center of Artsakh reports that 8 medical patients who were transferred to Armenia for treatment within the framework of the state order have returned to Artsakh with their companions.

Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In the "Arevik" medical unit, 2 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units. At "Republican Medical Center" CJSC, 6 patients are in the intensive care unit, and 3 of them are in critical condition.

Until today, 127 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
