A list of measures to ease the existing social tension will be developed by January 2 - National Assembly of Artsakh

Today, the Standing Committee on Social and Healthcare Affairs of the Artsakh National Assembly organized a discussion on the situation created as a result of the blockade.

Minister of Social Development and Migration Armen Mangasaryan, referring to the employment issue, said that in the current situation, more than 700 employers are unable to provide work to their employees. By January 25, a list of measures to ease the existing social tension will be developed.  

Suren Papikyan visited the servicemen injured in the fire

RA Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan visited the National Center of Burns to meet the servicemen who received burns of various degrees as a result of the fire on January 19. Papikyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"The medical staff presented details about the health condition of the servicemen and the process of treatment. Having talked with the servicemen, I wished them a speedy recovery," he wrote.

It should be reminded that on January 19, at around 01:30, a fire broke out in the shelter of the engineering sniper company of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense located in the territory of Azat village, Gegharkunik, as a result of which 15 servicemen were killed.

Today, on January 21, the Azerbaijani side again completely blocked the only gas pipeline entering Artsakh from Armenia, Artsakh Information Center reports.

"The natural gas cut off again in Artsakh at -5 degrees on the Celsius scale proves once again that official Baku is conducting an open terrorist policy against the 120,000 besieged civilian population of Artsakh, in the presence of the international community," the statement of the information center reads.

Ararat Mirzoyan will be in Brussels on a working visit

On January 23-25, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will be in Brussels on a working visit. 

"Ararat Mirzoyan will deliver a speech at the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, where he will address the issues of stability and security in the South Caucasus, the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the blocking of the Lachin Corridor, the Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement process, the RA-EU interaction. The Minister of Foreign Affairs will also answer the questions of the members of the European Parliament.

Within the framework of his visit to Brussels, Minister Mirzoyan will also have meetings with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, and Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib," the post states.
